Courtney
Courtney started dancing at age five. At the time, NVDC was called Mainstreet Dance Studio. She studied jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and lyrical and is a former member of élan, Rose City Ballet, and Deus Vult Ensemble of Dance. Her performance resume includes productions of Annie, The Music Man, The Grinch, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker, as well as performances at Disneyland, Disney World, the Bahamas, and New York. She has been assistant coach for a high school dance team, as well choreographed for high school musicals.
Courtney has been teaching dance for about 20 years! She teaches Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Contemporary from ages 2 to Adult. Her favorite part of teaching is “seeing the progression my students make throughout the year. The mini movers work on so much more than just dancing, and my older students work so hard to perfect certain skills. I love to see their faces when they realize they can do it!
