Maintaining Your Regular Routine
It can be hard to navigate how to maintain a healthy lifestyle for your child while still making sure they are safe. This is especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure your child is getting the socialization and structure they need to develop. You can create a sense of normalcy by:
- Adhering to daily schedules so children can maintain routines
- Encouraging socialization through technology or socially distanced activities
New Vision Dance Center wants to help your child get active and moving during the pandemic. Through social distancing protocols, virtual classes, and more, you can start to develop and maintain a healthy routine for your young one when you enroll in one of our dance classes.
About Our COVID-19 Protocols
The pandemic shouldn’t hinder your child from doing what they love, and changing their normal schedule can add stress. That’s why we still offer programs and classes so students can feel a sense of normalcy. To hold class that’s fun but still safe for your child, we adhere to a variety of protocols, including:
Mask Wearing and Social Distancing
All of our in-person classes implement mask-wearing procedures and social distancing practices. Students less than five years of age as well as staff are required to wear a mask at all times while in the studio. We give students additional water breaks that can be taken as needed and socially distanced dancing so they can practice safely.
If you’re not ready to have your child return to in-person classes but you want to create a normal schedule, they can still participate in the fun. We provide students of all ages with virtual classes so we can safely limit our in-studio class sizes. If students want to dance together, we can also provide individual private lessons that still adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols.
To give young students a routine, we have changed our summer camp regulations so your child can still safely attend. We now limit contact between families during pick-up and drop-off, keep dancers’ personal belongings separate, and we limit the number of visitors.
At New Vision Dance Center, we are dedicated to creating a safe space for students to express their love for dance. We will ensure that we regularly wipe down and sanitize surfaces as well as disinfect common spaces frequently throughout the day. Each dance studio has a ventilation system so dancers can safely practice indoors without worry. We also encourage dancers and staff members to practice safe hygienic protocols by washing and sanitizing their hands regularly.
