Tumble With Me 18-36 months
Exploration of movement on and around the equipment. The teacher will lead parents through a series of activities for their child to develop agility, coordination, flexibility. motor skills, body control and balance. Parents play a vital role in providing their child the security to explore this new world. Both child and parent work together through imaginative play, movement and obstacle course.
Tumble Tots 2.5 - 3.5yr
In this un-parented class the instructor will lead the group of children through stations where they will develop dominant movement patterns. Children will begin to learn the basics for gymnastics and how to listen and take turns.
Tumble Kids 3 - 4 or 4-5 years
Children learn basic gymnastics, social and motor skills while having fun as they gain self-esteem and confidence. Obstacle courses are used to teach basic skills, to allow experimentation with new found capabilities and help build the coordination necessary for future physical success.
Tumble Kids 5 - 6 years
Children develop strength, flexibility, coordination and self confidence through the mastery of fundamental gymnastic skills. This class will focus more on physical development (strength, flexibility, and agility) while improving and fine tuning the technique of basic gymnastics skills and progressions.
Tumble Kids 6.5-8 years or 8-11 years
Older children will develop strength, flexibility, coordination through the mastery of fundamental gymnastic and tumbling skills. This class will continue to focus on learning the correct techniques for tumbling.
TUMBLE PROGRAM
NVDC tumble program believes in creating a fun, fitness experience while learning the fundamentals of tumbling and gymnastics. Children are able to come and be physically active while exploring different kind of movement such as jumping, twisting, climbing, and springing. Gymnastics improves strength, flexibility, fine motor skills, balance and coordination while having fun. The skills learned at tumbling benefits each individual, when participating in many other sports.
